Dog Dragged by Truck and Abandoned in Street Deserves Justice

Target: Borough Of Columbia, Pennsylvania Police Department

Goal: Launch a full investigation so that justice may be served for the helpless young dog dragged by a moving truck.

In Columbia, Pennsylvania, a woman reportedly tied her dog to her truck, dragged it around town, then abandoned it in the street.

The story so far is that the dog owner, a woman who has yet to be identified, was last seen tying her young dog to the bed of a white pick-up truck. However, the dog fell from the truck and began to drag along behind the vehicle. Then, when she finally realized what was happening, she stopped her truck, not to properly secure the animal or get him medical attention, but to simply cut his ties and leave him there in the street.

Thankfully, the animal is now in an animal shelter and has been successfully treated for whatever wounds he may have sustained. But the matter still remains unresolved. This mystery person cannot be allowed to get away with such an incredulous act. Just imagine if this woman has other animals in her care. This young dog, possibly not even a year old, could have died, and it is up to us to make sure that he has a voice and receives justice.

The woman in the white truck was seen driving along the 300 block of Maple street. If you happen to live in the Columbia area and have any information that could lead to an arrest please contact the police department.

Sign this petition to encourage Columbia police officers to launch a full investigation into this woman’s identity so that proper justice can be served.

Dear BCPD,

The recent animal cruelty case involving a young dog being tied to a pick-up truck and dragged around town is an unthinkable act of cruelty that must not go unpunished.

My understanding is that the identity of the truck owner is unknown. All that is know is that the accused is a woman in a white pick-up truck. I urge you to put forth as much effort as possible solving this case as other animals may also be in danger by this woman. Luckily, this young dog was okay, but that is no reason to rest as this dog was still a victim.

Give a voice to helpless animals. Find the person who committed this act and make them answer for what they have done.

I don’t understand animal cruelty from either gender, but from a woman? And it’s happening so much more. What kind of women are we raising nowadays? Not only the woman, but her parents should be ashamed of themselves! My Dad and Mom taught me compassion for all animals and people – what’s wrong with these parents. People like her need to get off the streets – nothing is safe while people like her are on the streets!!!!
