Cats and Dog Reportedly Locked in Moving Truck Deserve Justice

Target: Bernie McCabe, State Attorney for Pasco County, Florida

Goal: Punish the woman who allegedly crammed 46 cats and one dog into a moving truck without access to food or water.

Forty-six cats and one dog were allegedly crammed into a moving truck without access to food or water. The suspect planned to take the animals with her when she moved out of state, police said. Demand justice for these innocent animals.

“I asked her, ‘Are you driving like this?’ She said, ‘Yes I am.’ I told her, ‘Don’t do that. Please don’t. They will die,’” stated Sevim Kline, a concerned citizen. She contacted the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office after she reportedly discovered 46 cats and one dog residing in a locked moving truck on her neighbor’s property. Some of the cats were kept in cages amongst their own feces, police stated, and those cages were stacked on top of each other inside of the truck. The animals reportedly had no access to food, water, or air conditioning.

Animal Control took custody of the animals. Karen Tuttle-Kunnmann was arrested and charged with 47 felony counts of animal cruelty. Sign below and demand that Tuttle-Kunnmann receive the maximum penalty possible, if convicted.

Dear State Attorney McCabe,

Forty-six cats and one dog were reportedly locked inside of a moving truck in a sad case of animal cruelty. The animals allegedly had no access to food, water, or air conditioning. We demand justice for these poor animals.

Deputies with the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office arrested Karen Tuttle-Kunnmann on 47 felony charges of animal cruelty after she allegedly kept cats and a dog inside of a locked moving truck. The animals had no access to food or water, police stated, and some lived in cages amongst their own feces. The cages were reportedly stacked on top of each other throughout the inside of the truck, and some animals even hid behind furniture. Animal Control took custody of the animals. Tuttle-Kunnmann is residing at the Pasco County Jail, and she will face her charges at a later date.

This alleged cruelty must be punished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

  1. This is sad but then you realize that so many other innocent animals just are usually thought as meat, are trucked to slaughter. WE can all make more compassionate choices.

  2. Linda Hilty-Tuttle says:

Karen Tuttle-Kunnmann is in jail where she belongs! How dare she treat innocent animals like this – she should be made to endure the same treatment, scum bag!!!!

  3. Derinda Nilsson says:

This witch is in jail, KEEP HER THERE. I hope each and everyone of these animals find a forever home. Leave her in jail without food and water for a while and don’t let her use the restroom either, see how she likes it. WITCH!!!

    • Heartily agree. If not convicted and incarcerated there will be an outcry. At least America recognises and punishes animal cruelty with appropriate sentencing. In Australia, the bloody weak judges and magistrates give a slap on the wrist, despite the law providing for both jail sentences and hefty fines.

  4. Barbara Hansen says:

I am so glad this horrible woman is now locked up for what she was doing to these poor cats and dog – I hope she is punished most severely. Thank goodness for the concerned neighbor who called the authorities on this horrible person.

  5. natasha polychuk natasha polychuk says:

    hate people

  6. Put this bitch in the truck without food and water . . . suck out the air and leave it there to expire.

  8. How far was she moving? If this was a quick move down the road, that’s one thing. But even then it would probably get too hot in the back of the truck in Florida!

  9. I dont know if her intentions were to mistreat them,,,, i lived not to far from there in Fla, very close actually, and the ppl in that county most are redneck idiots.., it doesnt surprise me… Their on live pd for crying out loud!

  10. Give this evil stupid bitch the same treatment.
