Multiple good Samaritans contacted the Panama City Police Department after they witnessed a couple allegedly abusing a puppy and then locking her inside of a hot car trunk. Police arrived and immediately began tearing apart the car from the inside, removing luggage and seats in order to reach the panting puppy. The puppy was reportedly locked inside of a crate much too small for her and appeared to be overheated, but thankfully still alive. Police found the owners inside of the mall and arrested them.

Animal control took custody of the puppy and she is doing well. Maurice Sanders and Keshanna Thompson were each charged with felony aggravated animal cruelty and they are being held on a $10,000 bond. Sign below to demand that Sanders and Thompson receive the maximum penalty possible by law, if convicted.

Lock them in the trunk and see how they like it!

  2. Maureen Garney says:

These POS owners deserve the same treatment.

  4. Jaime Perez Jaime Perez says:

These two buttheads need to be locked in a trunk in 120 degree weather! What is wrong with people anymore?? I’m glad the puppy is safe.

  5. It scares me to think that anybody with that lack of brain power should even own an animal!!! I agree with Jaime Perez – those idiots should be locked in a hot trunk & see how they like it. This is truly criminal. I hope they get the punishment they deserve!

  6. Throw the book at those mother f**kers. They were perfectly aware of what they were doing, and they knew that puppy could easily die from the heat, in fact they worked to make sure that happened
. I’m thankful people didn’t just let it go and called the police, and that the police were so good at getting to the puppy.

  7. Carole Hay says:

Thanks to all the awesome folks that saved this innocent young puppy THESE PEOPLE need to be placed on an animal abuse registry and should never be allowed to ever own another pet animal of Any kind they should not even have human kids either ! Thanks to the awesome folks and cops that saved this life ! If they can do that to an innocent puppy they could do that to a child too
