Shelter Dog Shot in Head and Left to Die Deserves Justice

Target: Faith Johnson, District Attorney for Dallas County, Texas

Goal: Demand that the person who shot a recently adopted dog in the head, leading to his death, receives the maximum penalty possible by law.

A dog suffered and died when he was shot in the head and left by the side of the road. The pit bull mix had been adopted from a shelter just one day before his death. Demand justice for this innocent dog.

“Do you wonder what he was thinking in those last moments when the monster laid him down on the side of the hot road with a gun pointed to his head,” asked a member of Dallas DogRRR, a local dog rescue group, on their Facebook page. The pit bull mix, known as Titan, had been adopted from The Garland Animal Shelter only one day before he was found on the side of the road, a bullet in his head. Titan’s former owner originally surrendered him to the shelter due to financial difficulties.

The Dallas Police Department and the SPCA of Texas are investigating this as an act of animal cruelty. They have not yet identified any suspects. Sign below to demand that the people responsible for this heinous crime are charged and assigned the maximum penalty possible by law.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Johnson,

A shelter dog was shot in the head in a gruesome case of animal cruelty. The person responsible then left him by the side of the road to die. We demand justice for this innocent dog.

The Dallas Police Department and the SPCA of Texas are investigating after a dead dog was found by the side of the road, a bullet in his head. The Garland Animal Shelter confirmed that Titan, a pit bull mix, had been adopted from their shelter just one day before his tragic death. Titan had originally been surrendered to the shelter due to his owner’s financial difficulties. Investigators have not yet identified any suspects, but they are considering this an animal cruelty offense.

This cruel and heinous act cannot go unpunished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Sincerely,

Someone needs to return the favor to this POS

The shelter has to know who adopted Titan. Go from there…

  2. I wish all animal abusers would just drop dead f******!

  3. HELL AWAITS WHO TOOK TITANS LIFE NOW. FIND THE SCUM AND END ON SITE NOW.

  4. How can they have no suspects . Who adopted him the day before his death. This would be a good starting place to investigate

  5. The person responsible is the one that adopted him!! OMG, how stupid can they be, arrest the POS that adopted this sweet furbaby!!

  6. HOPEFULLY SOMEONE CAN FIND THIS PIECE OF SHIT, AND USE THE “STAND YOUR GROUND” SOMEHOW IN REMOVING HIM FROM THE FACE OF THE EARTH. HE NEEDS TO BE GONE. HE WILL ABUSE MORE ANIMALS, AND START ON HUMANS NEXT…

I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT A STATEMENT WOULD BE RELEASED ABOUT NO SUSPECTS! HOW STUPID!
THERE NEEDS TO BE A NATIONAL DATABASE WITH NAMES, ETC OF ALL ANIMAL ABUSERS. THE SHELTER DID NOT DO ITS JOB IN VETTING THIS PIECE OF HUMAN EXCREMENT. THEY GOT TITAN OUT OF THERE, CASE CLOSED. EPIC FAIL.

  7. Jacqui Skill says:

Kill the dehumanized monster who did this or confine it to solitary confinement in prison for life! The punishment for animal abuse and murder is not harsh enough! It should be the same as it would be if the victim was human! This keeps happening because there monsters out there do not get a severe enough sentence!

  8. DEATH PENALTY FOR SUCH SADISTIC HUMAN PSYCHOS !!

  9. Mary J Zambrana says:

As a country we need to upgrade sentencing for those who take a life. Any life. Put them in prison just the same as if a human had been violated. Animals are not less than humans. We all deserve care and protection.

  10. Caroline Dinnage says:

This is another reason the civilised world wants guns banned in USA, too many idiots can get them!!!
