Man Accused of Beating Dog With Baseball Bat for Eating His Whopper Must be Punished

Target: Thomas M. Quinn, District Attorney for Bristol County, Massachusetts

Goal: Demand the maximum penalty under law for the man who allegedly beat his own dog using a baseball bat.

A dog is recovering from his injuries after he was reportedly attacked by his owner, who is suspected of having beat the animal using a baseball bat. While the dog is expected to fully recover from the savage beating, this act of cruelty must not go unpunished. Demand justice for this innocent dog.

The suspect, Gregory Ostiguy of New Bedford, Massachusetts, has been charged with animal cruelty after eyewitnesses reportedly saw the 50-year-old man striking the dog in his car using the baseball bat. Reportedly, the suspect attacked his dog for eating his Whopper hamburger. Police were called to the scene, and after Ostiguy’s arrest, the dog was taken to a veterinarian and was treated for his injuries, which were thankfully not life-threatening.

While Ostiguy is now awaiting trial for his alleged actions, it is important that Massachusetts officials know that the public will not tolerate a lenient punishment if this man is found guilty of having beaten this defenseless creature. Sign below and demand that this man receive the maximum penalty under law, if convicted of this shocking crime.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Quinn,

A dog was senselessly battered after his owner allegedly struck him repeatedly using a baseball bat. Eyewitnesses claim that New Bedford resident Gregory Ostiguy hit the dog numerous times in his vehicle using the blunt instrument, and he was arrested on the scene in Dartmouth by local police. We demand justice for this innocent dog.

If he is responsible for this attack, he must be severely punished and prevented from owning animals in the future. That is why we, the undersigned, demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
