Over 20 Dogs Allegedly Living in Their Own Feces Deserve Justice

Target: Patrick Dougherty, District Attorney for Indiana County, Pennsylvania

Goal: Demand that the man who allegedly kept 24 dogs in a garage filled with feces receives the maximum penalty by law.

Over 20 dogs were allegedly kept in a sealed filthy garage. The dogs reportedly lived in layers of their own feces and received little human contact. Demand justice for these poor dogs.

Pennsylvania State Police searched 39-year-old Thomas McDaniel’s property after they received reports of animal neglect and cruelty. Inside of a sealed garage, officers reportedly found 24 dogs covered in sludge and feces. Per the officers, the dogs lived in 1 to 5 inches of their own excrement and experienced very little human contact. Though the dogs were well-fed, officers stated, McDaniel neglected to provide preventative veterinary care and never allowed the dogs to leave the garage for socialization.

Indiana County Humane Society took custody of the dogs and they are slowly recovering. McDaniel has been charged with 90 counts of animal cruelty and has posted bail. Sign below and demand that McDaniel receives the maximum penalty by law, if convicted.

Dear District Attorney Dougherty,

Over 20 dogs allegedly lived in their own excrement in a shocking case of animal cruelty. The dogs reportedly lived in a sealed garage with little human interaction. We demand justice for these innocent dogs.

Pennsylvania State Police charged Thomas McDaniel with 90 counts of animal cruelty after he allegedly neglected 24 dogs on his property. Per officers, the dogs lived in a sealed garage and they were forced to lay in 1-5 inches of their own feces. The dogs showed no signs of starvation, officers stated, but they also had no history of preventative veterinary care or human socialization. Indiana County Humane Society took custody of the dogs and they are slowly improving. McDaniel will face his charges at a later date.

This allegedly cruelty must be punished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

  3. WE need to update and enforce animal welfare and cruelty laws in this country. We also need to mete out swift and severe punishment to offenders and let everyone know that they will pay a price for this kind of abuse. The creep who did this should be banned from any animal contact for life and mandatory mental health screening; he’s a sick and brutal creep.

More and more stories of animal abuse because these creeps are not getting the punishment they deserve. I like to put this creep in a cage and refuse to let him use the toilet to do his duty let him live in his excrement for yrs. and no human contact and or medical attention. Sounds good to me. CREEP.

  7. What about confiscating the property where the puppy mills operate?

  8. Agree all comments all these countries who do this cruel need to be treated same way and deal with these cruel bastards.
