Punish Homeless Man Who Allegedly Kicked Dog in Head

Target: R. J. Larizza, State Attorney for Volusia County, Florida

Goal: Demand that the homeless man who allegedly kicked his dog in the head receive the maximum penalty by law.

A dog was allegedly kicked in the head in a shocking case of animal cruelty. The suspect, a homeless man, reportedly told a witness that the dog was aggressive and that the he could do whatever he wanted to him. Demand justice for this poor dog.

Daytona Beach police arrived on the scene after they received reports of Dean Sullivan, a homeless man, kicking his dog on a public street. Per witnesses, Sullivan kicked the small mixed-breed dog in the head and ribs and then pulled his ears. The dog cried for five minutes after the alleged abuse, witnesses stated, and tucked his tail between his legs.

Daytona Beach Animal Control took custody of the dog. Sullivan had an active warrant for failure to appear on charges of possession of an open container of alcohol in public. He has been charged with animal cruelty and remains at the Volusia County jail under a $1,000 bond. Sign below and demand that Sullivan receive the maximum penalty possible by law, if convicted.
