Demand Allegedly Neglectful Zoo Retire Animals to a Sanctuary

Target: Terrill Standley, Owner of The Camel Farm

Goal: Rescue animals from zoo accused of allowing rampant injuries and sickness.

For years, the USDA has been citing The Camel Farm, a roadside zoo in Arizona, for various violations including extreme cases of neglect. The poor animals trapped at The Camel Farm suffer every day they spend there.

Reportedly, animals at the zoo have endured hair loss, overgrown hooves, emaciation, limps, overgrown masses, and various other injuries and sicknesses. Despite apparently not being able to care for these animals, The Camel Farm refuses to give them to an accredited sanctuary where they would all lead healthier and happier lives. Keeping the animals at this zoo is incredibly greedy and selfish.

Sign this petition and demand The Camel Farm surrender its animals to a responsible sanctuary. There is no need for these animals to continue suffering.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Mr. Standley,

For years, the USDA has been citing The Camel Farm for numerous violations and it seems you have apparently done little to improve your zoo’s conditions despite these violations. It is time to end the suffering and surrender these animals to an accredited sanctuary where they can receive the proper care they need.

Reportedly, animals at your zoo have been seen with various injuries and illnesses including hair loss, overgrown hooves, large masses, and extremely thin frames. In the past,  your zoo allegedly has ignored veterinary recommendations which only made matters worse. In addition, many of the animals’ pens reportedly have little to no shelter from Arizona’s extreme weather and have been seen filled with feces.

It is time to recognize that these animals deserve proper care so they can live their lives as happy and healthy as possible. Please consider giving these animals to an accredited sanctuary.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. It’s all about money and greed, not the welfare of the animals. Someone needs to step up to the plate and seize these animals. No animal deserves to be abused like this.

  2. Derinda Nilsson says:

Don’t let this creep keep these animals PLEASE!!! There has to be something someone could do for these animals. How many times are going to cite this creep before you really do something, Its already to for some of these animals. Karma a bitch for this creep.

leave it to Arizona to have one of these hell holes shut it down now what’s the matter with the ospca down there or is there one and do they do their jobs for what they’re paid for they sure aren’t helping these poor animals

  6. Stephanie Geyser says:

Aren’t you ashamed of being cited for “…various violations including extreme cases of neglect…”? I’d be ashamed, if I were you.

  7. Nooshin Perla says:

People who go to these zoos are just as GUILTY as the zoo owners and keepers!! SHAME on these people who walk around with their head up like nothing is wrong. What goes around comes around. The day that these losers will pay for what they do, IT WILL BE HEAVEN ON EARTH! Can NOT wait for that day.

  8. Dear Mr. Standley,
Animals have feelings and suffer too — you wouldn’t like to be mistreated, would you?
Have a heart and release them to a sanctuary!
