Punish Men Who Allegedly Poisoned Retired Police Dog

Target: Stephanie A. Bridgett, District Attorney for Shasta County, California

Goal: Demand that the two men who allegedly poisoned a retired police dog during a burglary receive the maximum penalty by law.

A retired police dog became seriously ill after he was allegedly poisoned. The suspects reportedly broke into a police officer’s home and fed the dog marijuana and sedatives. Demand justice for this poor dog.

A police officer rushed his dog, Tarro, to VCA Asher Animal Hospital after he suddenly became ill. Tests showed that Tarro consumed two life-threatening substances, marijuana and a sedative. Redding police traced the poisoning to a burglary that had reportedly occurred at the police officer’s home. Police stated that Joshua David Norton, a suspect, told his girlfriend that he gave Tarro marijuana brownies during the burglary. Several firearms and police patches were also stolen, police stated, and the suspects are in custody.

Tarro was treated and returned to his owner. Norton and a second suspect, Cal Joseph Demercurio Jr., were each charged with animal cruelty in addition to other related charges. Sign below and demand that Norton and Demercurio receive the maximum penalty by law, if convicted.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Bridgett,

A retired police dog was allegedly poisoned in a shocking case of animal cruelty. The dog reportedly ingested a life-threatening combination of drugs during the burglary of a police officer’s home. We demand justice for this innocent dog.

This dog has saved his handlers life no doubt and perhaps of others as well. Tarro has probably assisted in the arrests of perpetrators like these lowlifes that tried to poison him.
This dog deserves to be safe in his retirement and not poisoned to the point he could have died. Please get these sub-humans off the streets.

  4. Please take the extent of the law when bringing those guilty of animal abuse and theft.

  5. I’M GLAD THESE SPINELESS PUNKS WERE CAUGHT, I HOPE THAT SOMEONE POURS DRANO AND BLEACH DOWN THEIR THROAT. KEEP THOSE MONSTERS LOCKED UP FOR A LONG, LONG TIME!

I’m glad these two worthless pieces of garbage were caught and Tarro has recovered. They deserve to be exterminated.

  8. Force this sonofabitch to eat marijuana brownies until he OD’s. He’s a worthless piece of shit that doesn’t deserve to live in a civilized society. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could get rid of all the pieces of shit like him in our society. This would be a much better place to live. Unfortunately, it’s against the law to kill these sub-human coc.suckers which is the main reason that they’re still alive.
