Target: William Eddins, State Attorney for Okaloosa County, Florida

Goal: Demand that the man who allegedly mutilated and killed his father’s dog receives the maximum penalty by law.

A dog suffered and died tragically when the poor animal was allegedly stabbed, mutilated, and dismembered. The suspect reportedly killed his father’s dog after attacking his father with a knife. Demand justice for this innocent dog.

“Deputies found a large pool of blood inside a hallway with a trail to a bedroom,” stated the report written by the Oskaloosa County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies arrived on scene after Michael Reeves reportedly cut his father with a knife and fled. Per deputies, the blood trail led to Reeves’s father’s dog, a 75-pound pitbull mix, who had been maliciously killed and mutilated. The trail then led to a freezer filled with canine body parts, deputies stated. Knives and saws were also reportedly found on the scene. A healthy black and white beagle mix puppy was also reportedly found in the home.

The Panhandle Animal Welfare Society took custody of the surviving puppy. Reeves was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, causing the cruel death with pain and suffering of an animal, resisting an officer without violence, and felony violation of probation. Sign below to demand that Reeves receives the maximum penalty by law, if convicted.
