Dog Allegedly Starved and Left to Die Deserves Justice

Goal: Demand that the man who allegedly starved a dog and denied the animal life-saving veterinary care receives the maximum penalty by law.

A dog was reportedly starved and denied care in an unfortunate case of animal cruelty. Per police, the suspect planned to let the dog die in pain because he could not afford veterinary care. Demand justice for this innocent dog.

Deputies with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office investigated the home belonging to Lonnie Townsend after they received reports of a malnourished and injured dog on the property. They reportedly found the dog lying in the middle of a walkway with an injured back leg. The dog also suffered from malnutrition so severe, deputies stated, that the poor animal could have died.

Deputies took the dog to Palm Glen Animal Hospital, where the dog is currently in critical condition. Charges against Townsend are pending, as deputies are waiting on the results of the veterinary report.   1. Agree all comments . Laws need to change should be on a animal register and check before owning a animal. Also this mongrel needs it to be done to them torture. If you don’t want to treat animals properly don’t fucken get one. Arseholes.

  2. I’m so sick of people saying they can’t afford it. I know it’s expensive but you have to do what you have to do. Call places for help, or payment arrangements. This person is just sick and evil. I can’t believe you can just sit back and watch your dog starve. You deserve to be starved to death.
