Punish Man Accused of Breaking Puppy’s Bones With Flashlight and Throwing Her Downstairs

Target: Michael T. Gmoser, Prosecutor for Butler County, Ohio

Goal: Demand that the teenager who allegedly threw a puppy down a flight of stairs, causing her serious injuries, receive the maximum penalty by law.

A puppy was allegedly thrown down a flight of stairs and beaten in a horrific case of animal cruelty. The suspect reportedly tortured and beat the puppy because the puppy urinated in his bedroom. Demand justice for this innocent puppy.

“I can’t even imagine the fear and agony she went (through) with this monster and his anger,” stated Josephs Legacy Rescue in a Facebook post. Josephs Legacy took custody of Valhalla, a 12-week-old puppy, after she was allegedly thrown down a flight of stairs by 19-year-old Stephen Adam Collins. Collins also beat Valhalla with a flashlight, police stated, causing the puppy to suffer two broken legs and a broken pelvis. Collins’ mother surrendered Valhalla to the rescue and threw her son out of the house.

Valhalla had surgery to repair her legs. It’s still possible that her leg may have to be amputated due to the severity of the injury. Police charged Collins with felony animal cruelty. Sign below and demand that Collins receive the maximum penalty by law, if convicted.

Dear Prosecutor Gmoser,

A puppy suffered serious injuries after she was allegedly thrown down a flight of stairs and beaten. The suspect reportedly abused the puppy in response to the puppy urinating in his bedroom. We demand justice for this poor puppy.

Middletown police charged 19-year-old Stephen Adam Collins with felony animal cruelty after he allegedly threw a 12-week-old puppy down a flight of stairs in a fit of rage. Collins then beat the helpless puppy with a flashlight, police confirmed, causing her to suffer two broken legs and a broken pelvis. Collins’ mother surrendered the puppy, named Valhalla, to Josephs Legacy Rescue and she was taken in for emergency surgery. Though Valhalla is recovering, there is still a chance that her leg will have to be amputated.

This horrific cruelty must be punished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

  1. Kat Wrangler Welch says:

We have to stop using the term “if convicted”. We all know this POS did it.
Now all we need to do is make sure the law reflects the severity of the crime of animal abuse. This has to be nationwide.

I won’t stop signing for any abused animal, but things have got to change.

Never stop fighting for ALL animals!

  2. It was puppy for goodness sake. Let us hope this idiot doesn’t get to have his own children.
Obviously intervention is needed to teach this young man jhow to deal with his anger issues.
