Golden Retriever Beaten to Death by Police Officer Deserves Justice

Target: Tianxin District Police Bureau

Goal: Fire officer who brutally and publicly beat a golden retriever for three hours, until the dog died.

Horrifying footage of a police officer viciously beating a golden retriever to death has sparked widespread outrage. The officer, Hu Hanlin, bludgeoned the dog with a wooden club for three hours on the sidewalk, in sight of pedestrians, including children.

Hanlin and a second officer were called to the scene, and chained the retriever to a road barrier before Hanlin beat the animal to death. The officers were responding to reports of pedestrians being bitten by the dog—one victim suffered a minor injury, while the other only reported damage to his clothing. Neither account indicates that this level of gruesome force was called for, especially since the dog was restrained. This dog was killed in an excessively brutal, cruel, and unnecessary manner. Sign below to demand justice, and that the officer responsible is fired.

Dear Tianxin District Police,

Video footage showing the vicious killing of a chained dog by a police officer depicts a violent and excessive use of force that must not be allowed to stand. Officer Hu Hanlin was called to the scene after reports of pedestrians being attacked by a golden retriever. However, these accounts do not indicate that this brutality was necessary or called for, especially after the officers on the scene chained the dog to a road block. This officer was not merely doing his duty to protect the public—he displayed violence and cruelty.

Officer Hanlin viciously bludgeoned the chained retriever for three hours. He did so in a public place, in full view of pedestrians, including families and children. This officer failed to protect the public in this instance, and instead exposed them to a display of brutality and inhumanity. There should be no place in the police force for this kind of cruelty. I urge you to ensure that Hu Hanlin is held responsible for his actions and fired from the force.

  1. Typical Asian bystanders- used to barbaric animal abuse. None of them saved this innocent dog. Punish this POS. I think the witnesses as well as person taking the picture is just as sickening. Rest In Peace innocent dog.

  2. Very sad to know that this brutality was done in front of children. Things will never change when these are the role models for children.

You should be ashamed of the example that was set for the next generation.

  3. Hu Hanlin should be chained to a post and beaten to death….he should receive tenfold the cruelty he gave to that dog. God knows what the dog went through before turning on others…Asians are vicious about animals. I hope Hu Hanlin dies a terrible death, and I hope he is denied the book of life forever. He is not worthy to live. He a perfect model for evil and cruelty. Let him vanish without a trace. We don’t need such garbage on our planet. Any dog is worth 100 times what he is worth.

  4. I’ve already commented on the scum called Hu Hanlin…the essence of evil cruelty. May he be fired and made an example of viciousness.

Now I would like to say a prayer for the tortured Retriever. May his next incarnation be loving and wonderful….there is nothing as devoted and loving as a dog. May the soul of this dog be reborn into a great life filled with love and harmony.

  5. Lisa Finnigan says:

Bystanders should be charged as well as other officer.

  6. Melanie Johnson says:

Whatever it’s a pit or a poddle, this is just wrong. Unless it’s for self defense then don’t hurt an animal.

  7. Kathy Lenehan says:

I am horrified! I can’t imagine what gave this “public servant” the right to brutally slaughter a defenseless soul. What was he thinking as the dog looked in his eyes during blow after blow after blow? How did he feel after killing an animal that couldn’t escape his executioner? Did he feel any sort of guilt and remorse at the end of the day when he went home and faced his children and possibly his own pets? This man needs to be removed from his position of power and be held accountable for his actions! Someday Karma will may him face his actions.
