Injured Dog Thrown From Car Deserves Justice

Target: Timothy D. Sini, District Attorney for Suffolk County, New York

Goal: Demand that the man who allegedly threw an injured dog out of a car and abandoned him receives the maximum penalty by law.

A dog was allegedly tossed out of a car in a shocking case of animal cruelty. The suspect then reportedly drove away, leaving the dog behind covered in blood. Demand justice for this poor dog.

A Good Samaritan contacted detectives from the Suffolk County SPCA after they witnessed an injured dog thrown out of a car and abandoned. Creed, a 2-year-old pit bull, reportedly suffered an untreated laceration on his paw and blood coated his entire body. The suspect drove off after dumping Creed, detectives stated, but a thorough investigation led to his identification and arrest.

The Suffolk County SPCA provided Creed with veterinary care and he is recovering. Caciem Kruer, the suspect, was charged with animal abandonment and failure to provide proper veterinary care. Sign below and demand that Kruer receives the maximum penalty by law, if convicted.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Sini,

A dog suffered and could have died when he was reportedly thrown out of a car. Per a witness, the suspect drove off afterwards and left the injured dog behind. We demand justice for this innocent dog.

Detectives from the Suffolk County SPCA charged Caciem Kruer with animal abandonment and failure to provide proper veterinary care after he allegedly threw the injured dog out of his car and drove away. The 2-year-old pit bull, named Creed, reportedly had a laceration on his paw and his entire body was covered in blood. Thanks to a Good Samaritan, Creed was given prompt veterinary care and detectives were able to identify and arrest Kruer. If convicted, Kruer faces up to one year in prison and or a $1000 fine for each charge.

This cruelty cannot go unpunished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Sincerely,
