Dogs, Cats and Python Reportedly Starved by Woman Deserve Justice

Target: Mike Flynn, District Attorney for Blount County, Tennessee

Goal: Demand that the woman who allegedly abandoned dogs, cats, and a python without food, leading to the deaths of nine animals, receive the maximum penalty by law.

Six dogs and three cats died when they were allegedly abandoned for weeks without food. Some of the animals even resorted to eating the flesh of the dead animals in order to survive, police stated. Demand justice for these poor animals.

“One dog that was loose pushed past deputies, took one of the deceased kittens in its mouth, consuming the entire kitten,” stated deputies with the Blount County Sheriff’s Office. The deputies searched the mobile home belonging to Amy Renea Robertson after they received a request for a welfare check. Once inside, they reportedly found multiple dead animals in cages and the surviving animals running loose. Many of the animals were emaciated and dehydrated, per authorities, and some of the dead animals likely succumbed to the cold.

Ten dogs and a python were recovered from the property, and they are receiving treatment. Two cats escaped during the rescue attempt, and authorities are still searching for them. Robertson is facing 21 counts of aggravated animal cruelty and being held at the Blount County Jail. Sign below and demand that Robertson receive the maximum penalty by law, if convicted.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Flynn,

Nine cats and dogs died and many more suffered when they were allegedly left in a mobile home without food for weeks. The live animals even began eating the dead animals in an attempt to survive, reports stated. We demand justice for these innocent animals.

The Blount County Sheriff’s Office charged Amy Renea Robertson with 21 counts of aggravated animal cruelty after she allegedly left dogs, cats, and a python in a mobile home for weeks without access to food. Per authorities, many of the animals were emaciated and dehydrated, and some likely succumbed to the bitter cold. The living animals reportedly ran loose in the mobile home, with some beginning to eat dead kittens in an attempt to survive. The surviving animals are receiving treatment. Robertson is being held in the Blount County jail awaiting trial.

This horrific cruelty must be punished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Sincerely,

  1. What a shame she is being fed in prison.
Why can’t we do to her, what she did to her animals.
There is absolutely no excuse for this mistreatment as there are plenty of animal welfare organisations that could have helped her out if money was an issue and of she could have been bothered to contact one of them.
I just don’t understand how this woman can live with herself .
Sometimes eugenics has its positives !!
