PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Gregson,

A dog suffered and died when the poor animal was allegedly hit on the head with a hammer. The dog sustained a severe head injury and had to be euthanized. We demand justice for this poor dog.

The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division charged Clinton Lamont McQueen with felony animal cruelty after he allegedly hit a dog on the head with a hammer. Deputies and animal control officers reportedly found the badly injured dog on McQueen’s property along with two hammers. Per previous records, McQueen has a longstanding violent criminal history as well as multiple pending non-related felony charges. McQueen has been booked into the Randolph County Jail under a $20,000 secured bond.

This horrific abuse cannot go unpunished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.
