Praise Permanent Shutdown of Fake Animal Rescue Group

Target: Contra Costa County Superior Court Judge, Barry Goode

Goal: Thank Contra Costa County for permanently banning a fake animal rescue group

A settlement has been reached in a lawsuit involving a phony animal rescue group in Contra Costa County, California. The St. Francis All Creature Rescue and Sanctuary are barred from owning, saving, selling, adopting, or working with any animals from any source. They are banned from dealing with any animals indefinitely.

According to Kion News, St. Francis All Creature Rescue and Sanctuary and their employer, Crystal Kisicki, are permanently forbidden from ever working with another rescue group and seeking potential adopters or financial donors. Any attempt that they make to solicit donations, whether it is through websites or digital media accounts will be forced to shut down.

The criticism of St. Francis started when the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) realized that the organization was putting a number of sick and starving animals up for adoption at several pet stores and running fraudulent adoption events in the area. After numerous investigations, authorities took away all of their animals. Afterward, prosecutors found more than 60 animals at Kisicki’s property as well. It was determined in police reports that Kisicki had a past record of animal hoarding.

In early 2014, it was reported that Kisicki was found guilty of animal cruelty in Monterey County, California and was ordered to reimburse the SPCA for their work in rescuing her sick animals. The lawsuit was filed to request permanent restraints on Kisicki’s interaction with animals and to make sure that her and St. Francis All Creature Rescue and Sanctuary stop their fraudulent actions toward animals.

Please sign this petition to thank Contra Costa County judge for banning Crystal Kisicki from working with animals.

Dear Honorable Barry Goode,

Crystal Kisicki has been notorious for her animal hoarding antics since the 1990s. In recent years, she has been running a fake rescue group under the name of St. Francis All Creature Rescue and Sanctuary and has tricked many animal lovers into adopting and buying her malnourished animals.

Thank you for your decision to permanently stop her from ever owning, saving, rescuing, or working with animals ever again. It is people like Kisicki that perpetuates animal abuse and tricks legitimate animal shelters and pet owners into buying starved animals. Banning this woman from being in contact with animals will save any more animals from suffering through her and her organization.
