Applaud Punishment of Hollywood Animal Handler

Target: Sonny Perdue, Head of USDA

Goal: Praise the USDA for revoking license of handler accused of beating animals and feeding them contaminated food.

After years of alleged abuse and neglect, Hollywood animal exhibitor Sidney Yost has had his animal handling license revoked by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Public records indicate that Yost racked up over 40 violations against the Animal Welfare Act (AWA) in just two years. In addition, the USDA stated that Yost and his employees used and threatened beatings with wooden canes far too often. Yost was notorious for allegedly beating his animals and feeding them contaminated food.

Sign this petition and praise the USDA for revoking Yost’s license. Far too often, animals are exploited for profit while the handlers face no repercussions.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Mr. Perdue,

One of Hollywood’s biggest animal exhibitors, Sidney Yost, recently lost his license after too many violations against the Animal Welfare Act (AWA). I was ecstatic to hear this news. Many handlers exploit their animals with no repercussions; it is time to put an end to that.

Yost had a notorious reputation for abusing his animals. The USDA stated Yost racked up over 40 violations against the AWA in just two years, including for beating his animals with a wooden cane, not providing sufficient barriers between the animals and the people, and allowing the public to touch the animals. In addition, it is widely believed that Yost fed his animals contaminated food.

Thank you for revoking this man’s license. It seems clear that he did not truly care for his animals. I hope you continue to fight for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Sincerely,
