Dear Prosecutor Cotter,

A man in your jurisdiction has been accused of shooting a family’s pet, execution style, at a local mall. Apparently, the man objected to the dog escaping from his owner and decided to execute the poor animal. Reports indicate that the dog was under control when he was shot.

Fortunately, a local law enforcement officer rushed to the scene and transported the dog to the veterinary hospital. The accused shooter, Jon Hanley, was apparently arrested but then released on bail. If it is true that this man attempted to kill this dog, execution style at the mall, he has no business walking free. He must be re-arrested, have his bail denied, and be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
