Demand Investigation of Poisoned Pets

Target: Will Johnson, Police Chief of Arlington, Texas

Goal: Demand a thorough investigation of poisoned dogs.

The pet owners in the neighborhood community of North Columbus and 23rd street in Arlington, Texas are in a state of alarm because they fear someone is purposely poisoning the neighborhood dogs. Pet owners should not have to worry about their pets being poisoned while taking a peaceful walk with their beloved animals. So far, there have been only two reported cases, but the neighborhood community fears that this is only the beginning.

The neighborhood community has conducted a neighborhood-wide search and reportedly found pieces of sausage stuffed with pills. Dogs who have consumed these sausage pieces have been rushed to the hospital nearly one day after the pills were in their system. The substance within the pills are unknown, and the Animal Welfare League are in the process of testing them.

The Arlington Police Department has yet to conduct an investigation. The person responsible for poisoning these dogs must be held responsible and charged with animal cruelty charges. However, without an investigation, this seems less likely to happen. Sign this petition and demand that the Arlington Police Department investigate these cases of poisoned dogs.

Dear Chief Johnson,

I was shocked to hear about the cases of dog poisonings in the neighborhood community of North Columbus and 23rd Street in Arlington. Local residents are in a state of alarm because they fear someone is purposely poisoning their pets. These pet owners should not have to live in fear of their beloved animals being poisoned while they are out on a walk.

I understand that you have yet to conduct an investigation to find the person responsible for this crime. Although the neighborhood community has reportedly found many sausage pieces with pills, presumably poisonous, the culprit may still come back with more pill-filled sausages or use another stealthier tactic to poison the neighborhood’s animals.

This situation is very critical, as many more animals could be poisoned if the person responsible is not captured soon and charged with animal cruelty. The people of this Arlington neighborhood should not live in fear of their dogs being poisoned any longer. I hope you consider launching a full investigation to find the person who has been poisoning this community’s animals.
