Success: Michael Kors Stops Using Fur

Target: John Idol, CEO of Michael Kors

Goal: Praise Michael Kors for no longer using fur.

Animals trapped on fur farms face unimaginable horrors daily, but thankfully, famous designer Michael Kors has decided to no longer support this cruel industry. Michael Kors now joins BCBG, Gucci, Ralph Lauren, and J. Crew in the fight against fur.

Animals on fur farms are typically cramped into overcrowded, small cages where they have limited access to food, water, and even sunshine. These animals’ lives are full of misery and neglect, and are cut drastically short. The animals are usually killed the cheapest way possible which includes strangulation, suffocation, and neck-breaking.

Sign this petition and thank Michael Kors for listening to the public’s concerns, including those of the community at ForceChange. Now, countless animals will be spared from unnecessary pain and death.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Mr. Idol,

It recently came to my attention that your brand, Michael Kors, has stopped using fur on its products. I was ecstatic to hear this news.

As you are aware, animals on fur farms face a life of misery and neglect. Not only is using fur incredibly cruel, but completely unnecessary. There are plenty of alternative, cruelty-free fabrics that the fashion industry can utilize. Thankfully, more and more companies are beginning to use these fabrics including Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Gucci, J. Crew, Gap Inc., BCBG, and now you.

Thank you for making the decision to no longer support this awful industry. Countless animals will now be spared a life of misery and premature death.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
