Police arrested 31-year-old Clarence M. Grover Jr. after he allegedly allowed his dog to starve and suffer with an untreated broken leg. The eight- to nine-year-old St. Bernard, named B-Dog, was reportedly in such grave condition that she could not even stand up on her own. Per the Ontario County Humane Society, B-Dog was dangerously emaciated, and her broken leg swelled and became infected after it had been left untreated for several months.

The Ontario County Humane Society had to euthanize B-Dog to ease her suffering. Grover has been charged with felony aggravated cruelty to an animal. Sign below and demand that Grover receive the maximum penalty by law, if convicted.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Tantillo,

A dog suffered and died after she was allegedly starved and denied life-saving veterinary care. The dog was reportedly dangerously emaciated and suffered with an untreated broken leg. We demand justice for this innocent dog.

Police charged Clarence M. Grover Jr. with animal cruelty after he allegedly neglected his eight- to nine-year-old dog. Veterinarians reported that B-Dog, a St. Bernard, had broken her leg several months earlier and could no longer stand or walk on her own due to the swelling and infection. Per authorities, Grover never sought treatment for B-Dog’s broken leg and denied her life-sustaining nourishment. The Ontario County Humane Society had to euthanize B-Dog, finally ending her suffering.

This horrific abuse must be punished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Sincerely,

This monster needs to be in jail and treated the same way as he treated this innocent animal!

  2. This makes me particularly angry because I am a Saint mom. There is no excuse for this kind of treatment to an innocent animal. This pos is a disease of the human race, and needs to be eradicated!
