Punish Man Accused of Leaving Dog to Starve to Death

Target: David E. Sullivan, District Attorney for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

Goal: Demand that the man who allegedly moved away and left his dog behind with no edible food or water receive the maximum penalty by law.

A dog nearly starved to death when he was allegedly abandoned in an empty house. The dog’s owner reportedly moved away and left no edible food or water behind for the dog. Demand justice for this innocent dog.

A dog’s desperate howls attracted Greenfield police to an abandoned house, where they reportedly found the dog emaciated and quivering. Per police, the pit bull or boxer mix had grown so thin that his collar hung loosely on his neck and his ribs and hip joints protruded out of his skin. The officer on scene described an overwhelmingly nauseating smell of feces and urine in the home and a severe fly infestation. Police reportedly found only one moldy can of food inside of the home and no water.

The dog was taken by animal control and is recovering well. Greenfield police charged the dog’s owner, Matthew Page, with animal cruelty, and he’s currently being held without bail. Sign below and demand that Page receive the maximum penalty by law, if convicted.

Dear District Attorney Sullivan,

A dog suffered horribly when he was allegedly abandoned without access to food or water. The dog’s ribs and hip joints reportedly showed through his skin, and his collar had become several sizes too big. We demand justice for this poor dog.

Greenfield police charged Matthew Page with animal cruelty after he allegedly moved away and left his dog behind with only a moldy can of food and no water. The dog, a pit bull or boxer mix, reportedly howled and quivered in desperation as he slowly starved to death in the abandoned house. Per police, the house smelled of urine and feces, and hundreds of flies infested its empty rooms. Animal control took custody of the dog, and the dog is recovering. Page has been arrested and held without bail.

This horrific abuse must be punished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

  1. How sad that this piece of junk belongs to the human race! Lock up this sub-animal without food or water and throw away the key.

  2. Rosslyn Osborne says:

“Ye must not only have kind and merciful feelings for mankind, but ye should also exercise the utmost kindness towards every living creature.
The physical sensibilities and instincts are common to animal and man.
Man is, however, negligent of this reality and imagines that sensibility is peculiar to mankind, therefore he practices cruelty to the animal…..
In reality what difference is there in physical sensations! Sensibility is the same whether you harm man or animal: there is no difference. Nay, rather, cruelty to the animal is more painful because man has a tongue and he sighs, complains and groans when he receives an injury and complains to the government and the government protects him from cruelty; but the poor animal cannot speak, it can neither show its suffering nor is it able to appeal to the government.
If it is harmed a thousand times by man it is not able to defend itself in words nor can it seek justice or retaliate…..
Therefore one must be very considerate towards animals and show greater kindness to them than to man…. Man is generally sinful and the animal is innocent; unquestionably one must be more kind and merciful to the innocent”. Baha’i Faith Writings

Just shoot this piece of shit ……

  4. I wish we could do the same to him. Sadly some liberal judge will give him a little slap on the hand.
