Dog Apparently Starved to the Point of Eating His Tail Deserves Justice

Target: Garry Frank, District Attorney for Davidson County, North Carolina

Goal: Demand that the person who allegedly starved three dogs, leading to the death of one, receive the maximum penalty by law.

Two dogs suffered and one died when they were allegedly denied food and forced to live in filth. One dog was reportedly so hungry that he began eating his own tail. Demand justice for these poor dogs.

“That was the most emaciated dog I have ever seen and him still be alive and walking,” stated Mindy Faircloth of the Davidson County Animal Alliance. Faircloth took three pit bull mixes in after investigators reportedly recovered them from a house filled with urine and feces. Per investigators, all three dogs were emaciated and their ribs showed through their skin. Tank, the eldest dog, was reportedly so malnourished that his organs had begun to shut down and he couldn’t even stand on his own.

Tank had to be euthanized due to the extent of his illness. The other two dogs are recovering. Police are expected to charge the owner of the dogs, whose name has not yet been released. Sign below and demand that the person responsible for this cruelty be charged and receive the maximum penalty by law, if convicted.

Dear District Attorney Frank,

Three dogs were allegedly starved and forced to live in their own excrement in a shocking case of animal cruelty. One dog was reportedly so malnourished that his organs began to shut down and he had to be euthanized. We demand justice for these innocent dogs.

A pit bull mix known as Tank had to be euthanized after he was allegedly starved nearly to the point of death. Per investigators, Tank was so hungry that he began eating his own tail, and he was too weak to stand on his own. Two more malnourished pit bull mixes were also reportedly rescued from the same home, their ribs showing through their skin. The owner of the dogs has not yet been publicly identified, but is expected to face charges of animal cruelty.

This horrific abuse must be punished. We demand that you charge the person responsible and seek the maximum penalty in this case.

  1. Throw him in jail and don’t feed him until his jail sentence is over – maybe by then he loses a hand or a limb!

  2. Carol Brandt says:

Why no name? If that monster is under age 18, so what? I’m getting sick and tired of withholding names of minors. I knew at age 5 that would be the wrong thing to do, what was done to those dogs. God bless them. Has anyone noticed that the Carolinas seem to have a lot of animal abusers?

  3. Tell the public this rotten pos’s name! He doesn’t deserve the protection of anonymity. He is evil and should be prosecuted and punished severely. Dirty, filthy monster.

  4. Alison Scott says:

Lets starve these horrors to death they don’t deserve to live

  5. Starve this bastard to death. Ban owning animals for life. Justice now. Beat them to pulp.

  6. All these shit people who do this and unfortunately it seems they are more and more because justice doesn’t work. They should get the same they did and ALWAYS KILLED AT THE END with torture and left alone to die in terrible pain. I curse them all to horrible and violent deaths.

  7. Sherri Plath says:

This case is so sickening. These poor dogs dont deserve this inhumane treatment. May as well just give this owner the same treatment starvation then death.
