Target: Prince Albert SPCA
Goal: Applaud the Prince Albert SPCA for educating the city’s youth about the importance of saving animals
Children of all ages from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan in Canada have been particularly involved in benefiting the lives of the many animals in the Prince Albert Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). These children show a sense of selflessness that even some adults fail to have. This is all thanks to the large presence that the SPCA has in the community.
The local SPCA volunteers devote their time to helping the shelter animals and also educating others about the importance of animal rescue. By educating young children, they are creating guardians who may help the animals or run the shelter in the future. They are also forming a strong sense of selflessness and compassion in these children. While most kids on their birthday would feel possessive about their gifts and would be unlikely to share them, the children of Prince Albert are surprising everyone by asking for donations to the SPCA as their birthday gift instead of requesting toys for themselves. Some kids are even donating their hard-earned money from their lemonade stands to the shelter.
The children’s generosity and willingness to donate are remarkable. They set an example for all children and their behavior should be praised and encouraged. However, this wouldn’t have been so easily possible if it were not for the volunteers at the local SPCA who give presentations in schools and at the city fair. With their determination to inform people, particularly children, the future has gained guardians who will help create a better world for animals. Sign this petition and applaud the shelter and the children of Prince Albert for their part in benefiting the lives of the Prince Albert SPCA shelter animals.
Dear Prince Albert SPCA,
I would like to thank you for the remarkable work you have done in your community. Not only are you rescuing animals, you are also creating the future’s guardians for animals by educating the city’s young children. The children of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan have amazed me with their generosity and willingness to donate to the animal shelter.
Their sense of selflessness is something that I believe should be praised and encouraged. This would not have been possible if the volunteers at the Prince Albert SPCA had not devoted their time to informing others about the importance of saving animals. Thank you again for enriching the minds of the future and benefiting the lives of the shelter animals.
