Stop Electrocuting and Skinning Foxes for Luxury Fur

Target: Andrzej Duda, President of Poland

Goal: Fight the cruelty of the fur trade industry and make inhumane fur farms illegal.

Hidden cameras placed on a Polish fur farm revealed new heart-wrenching footage of the plight of foxes and other animals who are victims of the fur trade industry. The footage was captured by Animal Defenders International (ADI) as an element of its new campaign to end this brutal trade, which kills over 100 million animals every year.

ADI released the video, titled “A LIFETIME,” which appears to show two fox brothers called Borys and Eryk as they are dragged from their wire cage, hung from a back leg, electrocuted to death, and tossed onto a cart with other animals that will be skinned. The foxes are less than seven months old, and all of this occurs while their sister Aleska is left in her cage to watch. She is spared in order to breed—next year, her babies will be taken from her to be killed just like her brothers. All of this is done for the sake of high fashion and luxury.

Sign below to demand that this inexcusable and unnecessary cruelty be made illegal.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear President Duda,

Recent footage released by Animal Defenders International (ADI) depicts the unacceptable brutality and abuse that takes place on fur farms in Poland, which must be stopped. ADI’s cameras captured young foxes apparently being torn out of the cages where they’ve spent their entire lives in order to be unceremoniously hung by a back leg, electrocuted, and thrown into a cart to be skinned.

This cruel treatment of innocent foxes for the sake of the ‘high fashion’ and ‘luxury’ of the fur trade is unacceptable. Please protect these innocent animals from torture. I urge you to ban fur farms in Poland.

Sincerely,
