Director of Humane Society Who Reportedly Instructed Employee to Break Cat’s Neck Must be Punished

Target: Greg Edwards, District Attorney of Albany, Georgia

Goal: Harshly punish Humane Society director for reportedly directing employees to break cat’s neck.

The Director of the Albany Humane Society allegedly directed employees to break a cat’s neck as a form of euthanasia. The 54-year-old director, Andy Sartiano, was arrested and charged with one count of animal cruelty. Sartiano was also fired from her position, but not for the cruel and barbaric treatment of a cat. She was fired for “not performing her duties,” according to a statement made by the President of the Albany Humane Society Board of Directors.

Breaking an animal’s neck as a form of euthanasia is inhumane and unethical. This innocent cat deserves justice, and the other animals who may be at risk should be protected from people like this. Please add your signature to the petition below to demand that the director be punished to the maximum extent and barred from working with animals in the future.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Mr. Edwards,

Albany Humane Society Director Andy Sartiano allegedly instructed employees to break the neck of a cat, claiming it to be a form of euthanasia. This is an inhumane, unethical way to treat an animal. The Humane Society is supposed to help animals, not mistreat them.

We, the undersigned, demand that the director be punished to the fullest extent of the law and barred from ever working with animals again.

Sincerely,

  1. Bear de Mel says:

Who employed this evil idiot, he needs to be removed immediately from his paid job and prevented from ever working with animals again. This Charity needs to be investigated thoroughly in case there are financial irregularities too.

    • Agree with every word you said.
I don’t believe this is the first and only time this Sartiano would have done something like that.
Fired for not performing her duties – What, did the board want her to be breaking more cats necks !!! She should have been fird for animal cruelty.
      Wicked nasty person.

    • I can not believe these people…would she jump off the Brocklyn bridge he she where told….That’s all I’m saying.
She needs to be punished, strongly Hope is does not get away w/this.

  2. This is not the first case of employees from The Humane Society mistreating and killing animals…this is simply one that got caught.

  3. She should rot in hell as for the employee carrying out her orders that is a stupid bastard and should also be strung up. Bloody sick of defenceless animals being killed. I feel harsher punishments should be enforced. If she had asked me to do that I’d have flattened her….. BITCH.

  4. PEOPLE! This cruel treatment, all cruel treatment of all animals must end. EVERY state must enact more strict, mandatory laws, with extreme punishments, high monetary fines, long jail time. And this should be for each and every animal they harm! Not just for one animal, but for every animal in their care, (supposedly care), and for every possible animal that any individual could possibly harm. Such as in this ‘shelter’. Who knows what this person did when no one was looking, and how many animals were harmed or killed in this manner? States change your laws.
