Punish Repeat Offender for Allegedly Starving Dogs After Previously Being Charged for Dead Bear and Rabbit

Target: Larry Harrah, Prosecuting Attorney of Fayette County

Goal: Severely punish repeat offender who allegedly starved dogs to death after previously being charged with animal cruelty when authorities found dead rabbits and black bear in his home.

A dog was reportedly starved to death by a man who was previously charged with animal cruelty less than six months ago. The poor deceased dog was found chained inside of a metal cage. Deputies say they found an additional 10 dogs on very short leashes who were suffering from severe starvation and malnutrition. Most of the dogs had no shelter, the deputies said. The owner, 35-year-old Thomas Seth Sedlock, had previously been arrested when the dead bodies of a small black bear and domestic rabbits were found in his home.

The animals were seized and sent to an animal shelter. Sedlock faces a felony charge of animal cruelty and 10 misdemeanor counts of the same charge. Additional charges from his first offense included domestic battery and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm. Sedlock was arraigned on the new charges and released on bond. If the judge hadn’t released Sedlock without any restrictions the first time, perhaps these innocent dogs wouldn’t have suffered. It’s bad enough that he was able to repeat animal cruelty, but even after this second disturbing offense, the judge still allowed him bond and didn’t bother including restrictions that would prevent him from doing the same thing again. Please add your signature to the petition below to demand that this alleged repeat offender receive the maximum sentence and a permanent ban from owning animals.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Mr. Harrah,

A dead dog was reportedly starved to death by Thomas Seth Sedlock, a man with a recent history of animal cruelty and domestic violence charges. The dog was found chained inside of a metal cage, according to authorities. They also reportedly found 10 other dogs suffering from starvation and kept on short leashes with no shelter. What’s even more disturbing is that less than six months ago, multiple dead rabbits and a black bear were reportedly found in this man’s home.

A combination of multiple animal cruelty and domestic violence charges often results in fatal tragedies for innocent people and animals. This person should be considered dangerous to both humans and animals. We, the undersigned, are calling on you to help ensure that no more animals (or humans) suffer at the hands of this person. Please seek the maximum possible punishment and a lifetime ban from owning animals for this alleged repeat offender.

Sincerely,

  1. This guy needs to be wiped out. It obvious what this behavior is indicative of. Fines & punishment is just going to fuel him up for more sadism. Why can’t the public decide what to do with him. Right on publish his address

There must be harsher laws. These sick retards must be loocked up and never ever be able to own any animal.
They don´t deserve to live, no animal should suffer like these poor animals have done. It´s HORRIFYING!

  3. This subhuman psycho needs to be taken out of society. The judge should retire, totally deluded to let out a criminal to commit the same crime against innocent lives. Dogs have lost their lives because of the judge’s decision, should he be jailed too !!

  4. Kill bustard. .its life is waste of air

  5. When is the law going to recognise that animals are sentient beings and we who are intelligent enough to understand this have had enough of these sickos who torture and abuse animals. Lock this piece of shit up and starve him to death. Why waste tax payers money putting him in prison?

  6. Kae Blecha, OTR says:

This goofball is too dysfunctional to pay off the original judge, so I can only think that the judge is way past his prime, if he was ever competent in the first place. Hard to tell in your state.

  7. evil sadistic scumbags like this should NOT be free! they should either be locked up and starved- let them feel the suffering they have caused to other living beings. The punishment for cruelty is a joke! it’s not a deterrent it’s a joke! make them really pay for what they have done!!!
