Justice for 32 Animals Allegedly Starved and Forced to Live in Filth

Target: Brent Eaton, Prosecuting Attorney for Hancock County, Indiana

Goal: Demand that the woman who allegedly starved and neglected 32 animals receive the maximum penalty under law.

Thirty-two animals were allegedly starved and forced to live in filth in a shocking case of animal cruelty. Per police, the animals were in poor health and a cat had to be euthanized due to the severity of its illness. The owner reportedly stated that she usually takes care of the animals, but had fallen behind on bills. Demand justice for these poor animals.

Police and animal management officers entered Carole Pope’s home after receiving a call from a concerned citizen. What they found inside was disturbing. Per police, nine cats were kept in a tall wire crate and covered with a tarp. Their litter box was reportedly full, their food was soggy, and their water was green. Four horses were allegedly tied up with no access to food, water, or shelter and 12 dogs lived in uninhabitable conditions.

Pope was charged with seven counts of animal cruelty. Greenfield-Hancock Animal Management took custody of all the surviving animals. Sign below and demand that Pope receive the maximum penalty under law, if convicted.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Eaton,

Thirty-two animals suffered and one cat had to be euthanized when they were allegedly starved and neglected. Many of the animals were reportedly forced to live in a home deemed uninhabitable by the board of health inspector. We demand justice for these innocent animals.

Per animal management officers, many of the animals appeared seriously ill. Two male cats reportedly suffered with leg injuries and six kittens had round and distended bellies, an indication of intestinal parasites. Most of the animals were allegedly underfed and dirty, including 12 dogs and four horses.

This horrific abuse cannot go unpunished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Sincerely,

Thank God that the animals were removed from this idiot’s possession. now she needs to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, especially for causing the death of this poor innocent cat. She needs to understand that these are living creatures which she was responsible for and there are consequences for her actions.

  2. MUST PUNISH THE ANIMAL HOARDERS NOW.

Severe punishment and then make absolutely sure they never ever get their hands on any animal again!
