Encourage Businesses to Fund Animal Welfare Groups

dog in Shelter

Target: Law Minister K. Shanmugam

Goal: Applaud businesses for funding animal welfare groups in Singapore

The number of animals under the care of devoted animal welfare groups in Singapore has increased considerably since last year. With more animals needing care and shelter, these organizations’ need for money is increasingly hard to come by. Singapore Law Minister K. Shanmugam understands that operating a non-governmental organization is not exactly an easy way to fund these essential organizations. Praise him for instead urging businesses to help financially support these animal welfare groups.

Animal welfare groups and organizations such as Save Our Street Dogs, which currently shelters 78 dogs, have to spend at least $269,000 each year to cover the costs of the dogs’ most basic needs, such as food and electricity. Along with the electricity bills and costs for dog food, staff salaries, government subsidies, and tax breaks also take a toll on these organizations.

Law Minister K. Shanmugam believes that if people can work together to improve the lives of animals, then they can generate empathy and generosity that will benefit all as a society. Sign this petition and support businesses’ efforts to fund hardworking and devoted animal welfare organizations in Singapore.

Dear Law Minister K. Shanmugam,

I understand that you have recently begun urging businesses to help support animal welfare groups in Singapore. Since these animal welfare groups have to spend so much each year to cover the costs of food, electricity, and staff salaries, I believe that your efforts to garner financial support to provide much-needed funds will greatly benefit them.

Along with the costs of dog food, electricity bills, and staff salaries, animal welfare organizations such as Save Our Street Dogs also have to worry about government subsidies and tax breaks. Without support from businesses, the animal welfare groups in Singapore will most likely struggle to keep their operations running. The ones who will suffer the most will be the animals who depend on these organizations for care.

I believe that by urging businesses to contribute financial support to animal welfare groups in Singapore, you are helping many shelters to continue to stay open, improving the lives of animals that desperately need care. You have my full support regarding your admirable efforts to help these devoted and hard-working animal welfare groups.

Yes Including SINGAPORE! They are BARBARIC and have FIGURED out HOW to Screw people Out of Money for THEMSELVES, because they do Not care about these animals in pretty much ANY 3rd World Country, or Asian Territory, or India or China, or Viet Nam or Laos, or even the Phillapines, or ANY Carribean or South American Country, and to tell More of the TRUTH, the US Might Not eat our Domestic Animals, but the WAY they KILL them by the MILLIONS EVERY YEAR for over 70+ years? Well they too are INHUMANE, they are just Better at COVERING it UP like Everything Else, they Lie about.
