Justice for Puppy Kidnapped, Beaten, and Drowned

Target: Bill Adair, District Attorney, Walker County, Alabama

Goal: Punish juveniles accused of stealing a puppy, beating it, and attempting to drown it in a creek.

Three juveniles are facing charges after allegedly beating and attempting to drown a 3-month-old pit bull puppy. The dog was allegedly stolen from a neighbor’s yard by the three children, aged 12, 13, and 17, who are accused of breaking down a fence to gain access to the yard. The dog was saved, but died of its injuries a couple days afterward.

The children allegedly tried to bring the puppy in to a local swimming pool, but lifeguards told them to take the animal home as it wasn’t allowed in. According to Acting Police Chief Jason Hare, the children then took the dog to a nearby creek, where they beat is severely and attempted to drown it. The dog was saved by lifeguards who responded to its tortured screams, chasing the children away. The dog was found wrapped in a shirt.

The accused children, who have not been named due to their ages, were taken to a juvenile detention facility. One was charged with theft of property and the other two were charged with cruelty to animals.

This act shows shocking cruelty and a blatant disregard for life. Juveniles involved in animal abuse this severe are likely to escalate their violence later on in life. We must therefore ask that they are punished properly as well as subjected to appropriate mental health screenings in order to prevent recidivism in the future.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Mr. Adair,

Three juveniles are facing charges after allegedly breaking down a neighbor’s fence to steal a puppy, then brutalizing the puppy and trying to drown it. According to witnesses, the children tried to bring the puppy into a local pool but were turned away. Reports say that the children then took the puppy to a nearby creek where they beat it and tried to drown it. While the dog was rescued, it died of its injuries only a couple days later.

Children capable of this sort of violence are at a high risk of escalating their violence to larger animals or even humans. For this reason, we ask that you seek to punish them properly as well as subject them to appropriate mental health screenings in order to prevent recidivism in the future.

Sincerely,

Well done Alabama – Next Serial Killers in Training. World Research states monster cowards like these start with abuse, torture and murder of animals and then move on to Humans. Children first as like animals they cannot fight back. Check out well known serial killer profiles. Lawmakers, judges it could be your child or grandchild next. It is in your hands,
These kids should have been aborted. Perpetrators we are coming for you when you least expect it you will get yours. Satan is waiting for you where you will burn in a sea of fire, receive no mercy and your pain will be constant for eterntiy. Karma

    • totally Agree – serial killers in training for sure!!!

Well, don’t they sound like they have “such a promising future lifestyle”. I really don’t understand what the world has come to.
The laws have to be up-dated to show these “lack of morals” humans that this kind of inhumane actions will not be tolerated.
And yes I realize they are “kids” which means, not much, if anything at all will be done.
Laws have to PUNISH the kids, and just to make a more lasting impact, the parents of the kids will be made to receive a LARGE financial punishment. Make the law and the justice shown to reflect this is not tolerated and will be punished at the highest level.
Show the kids that they royally “f’ed” up. And make the parents have to pay and pay big time financial penalties.

  2. Need to charge the parents also.

    • Carol Anderberg says:

Great comment…………..Your right, the parents pay as well as the lowlife kids who better have punishment from the legal system. This is probably not the first torture or abuse to an innocent animal. And their evil grows from there, unless the legal system gets on board, you have to stop them “”NOW””

  3. these children need punishment they know that is wrong

  4. these less than human garbage kids need to have a very severe punishment. Killers in training. Parents need to be held accountable also for raising this garbage

  5. Cynthia Mattera says:

wow…their parents must be proud! Guess they were never taught kindness. I hope they all get convicted and sent to juvenile hall.Poor puppy, rest in Peace 🙁

  6. Rose Coffey says:

If any of these were my “kids” they had better remain in juvenile detention. May as well keep them there until they are older and then transfer them to a more stringent facility. It will save time and money in the long run as apparently they are real sickos who will end up in a criminal punishment center eventually anyway.
