Ban Cruel Big Cat Show

Target: John Caracciolo, President and CEO of JVC Broadcasting

Goal: Ban Lion & Tiger Show from performing.

Despite claims of abuse, the Lion & Tiger Show, a big cat exhibit, will be hosted at the Pennysaver Amphitheater, which is owned and operated by JVC Broadcasting. According to PETA, the show’s exhibitor, Georgina Donoho, was cited for keeping her big cats in cages so small they could barely turn around. These animals spend most of their lives in these small cages as they are carted around the nation for shows.

Big cats face a variety of mental and physical hardships in captivity. Captivity often leads to higher levels of stress, shorter life spans, and disease. Lions and tigers belong in the wild, not in overcrowded arenas. Sign this petition and demand the Pennysaver Amphitheater ban this cruel show.

Dear Mr. Caracciolo,

The Pennysaver Amphitheater is currently hosting the Brookhaven Fair and all its acts. Unfortunately, one of the acts is the Lion & Tiger Show, which exploits animals for profit. These animals belong in the wild, roaming freely, not trapped in cages and overcrowded arenas.

The exhibitor for Lion & Tiger Show, Georgina Donoho, has been cited by the U.S. Department of Agriculture for violating the Animal Welfare Act by keeping her big cats in cages so small they could barely turn around. When the cats are not performing, they are typically kept in their cages and being carted around from show to show. Captivity is extremely detrimental to big cats and often leads to a variety of mental and physical issues, as well as shorter life spans.

Please consider banning Lion & Tiger Show from your amphitheater. These animals should not suffer for human entertainment.

  1. I wish these lions could eat these people, but then the animals would be captured and killed. At least, they would have had a really good last meal! There is no excuse for these animal shows, but people must stop attending. No audience, then there is no profit to these shows.

  3. Anne Moeller says:

Move all of these animals to RELIABLE sanctuaries and then put the greedy people in the small cages and let them ROT!!!

  4. These horrible animal shows should be consigned to history where they belong. Animals were not put on the earth to be kept in cages for mindless twits to laugh at. Years ago it was the only way for people to see wild animals but now we have reams of wonderful film showing animals in their natural surroundings, behaving in their natural ways and not pacing about in misery. Embrace humanity and move on. Animals are not on the earth for human entertainment.

  5. Candy Niewinski says:

These animals are meant to be in the wild, not meant to be on display! When are these assholes gonna learn to stop doing this to these poor animals.

  6. aniamsl are not for your or our enetertainment!you are as low as low can go. Bad karma will follow you whereever you go, and you very soon will get what is coming to you! realeas those cats to a sanctuary now, or suffer your coming furture!
