Find Person Who Set 4-Month-Old Puppy on Fire

Target: Mark A. Dupree, Sr., District Attorney for Kansas City, Kansas

Goal: Find and punish the person who set a puppy on fire and abandoned her on the street.

A puppy was set on fire and abandoned on the street to die. She suffered severe burns throughout her body. Demand justice for this innocent puppy.

“Every so often we see glimpses of humankind at its worst [and] today is one of those days,” said the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City in a Facebook post. The post included graphic photos showing Aurora, a pit bull puppy, with severe burns. The second- and third-degree burns covered over half of her little body and could have ended her life.

Aurora is receiving medical treatment and slowly recovering. Police are investigating this crime as a malicious act of animal cruelty and seeking the public’s help in finding the person responsible. Sign below and demand that this person be charged and receive the maximum penalty by law.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Dupree,

A 4-month-old pit bull puppy suffered tremendously after she was set on fire. The person responsible is still at large. We demand justice for this innocent puppy.

Witnesses reported seeing Aurora running down the street in agony after she had been set on fire. Though she is recovering, they state that she will need one month of burn care and may have permanent scarring.

This horrific crime cannot go unpunished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Sincerely,

Linda,go to the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City Facebook page. They’ve posted update’s on little Aurora, she’s doing better, and they’ve determined it was an accidental cooking grease incident! It’s a damn shame that whoever did this didn’t seek help for her, instead they turned her loose to fend for herself in agony…I hope Karma finds them.

      • In some ways it may as well been intentional, in not seeking help for poor wee Aurora, it was just as heartless.
I hope they catch the mongrels that left her in this condition.
Good on the people that are caring for her now.

  2. THROW the monsters in jail — we MUST take crimes against animals seriously — punishments MUST be severe — we do NOT want repeats to animals of such horrific brutality!

  3. Marla Brocking says:

The SUBHUMAN POS responsible for this cruelty needs to be punished to the max extent of the law and even that would not be justice for the horrific act inflicted on this poor animal. Please use your authority and speak up for the ones who can’t. Make it known ANIMAL ABUSE IS NOT OK!!!!!!!!!

  4. All of these killers are said to suffer the same problems as these poor animals
    damn whoring sons

  5. Marilyn Glasgow says:

How the hell can they possibly know it was accidental? They weren’t there.

  6. nilda Rippon says:
