Stop Killing Animals for Key Chains

Target: Eraldo Poletto, CEO of Furla

Goal: Stop Furla from using real fur for key chains.

Furla is an international retailer that primarily sells handbags, but unfortunately the company continues to support the cruel fur industry. Furla sells pompom key chains made of real fur. No animal should suffer and die for something so useless.

Animals trapped in the fur industry face a variety of mental and physical hardships. Typically, these animals are kept in small, dirty cages where they have limited access to food, clean water, and sunshine. Their lives are cut drastically short and they are killed in whatever way the workers deem most convenient. Common ways include strangulation, neck-breaking, suffocation, anal electrocution, and poisoning. The animals are then hoisted up to hang from their limbs while they are skinned and discarded. It is not uncommon for an animal to still be alive during this entire process.

Sign this petition and demand Furla stop using fur for key chains. Not only are key chains completely useless, but there are many cruelty-free, alternative materials available to use.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Mr. Poletto,

Despite knowing how terribly animals on fur farms are treated, your company still utilizes fur for some of its products. It is time to stop supporting this cruel industry and end the use of fur on your pompom key chains.

Animals trapped in the fur industry face mental and physical hardships daily. They are typically kept in small, dirty cages where they have limited access to food, clean water and sunshine. The animals are then killed, while still quite young, in whatever way is deemed cheapest and most convenient. Common ways include, but are not limited to, strangulation, suffocation, poisoning, neck-breaking, and anal electrocution. Unfortunately, the kills are not always clean and many animals remain alive for the skinning process.

Please end your use of fur for your key chains. No animal should be tortured and killed for something so unnecessary. There are many cruelty-free alternative materials available to use instead.

Sincerely,

  1. Wouldn’t you think that perhaps ‘human skin’ key chains would be more profitable? This is just an idea … to spare those defenseless animals from beasts like you!

  2. Kathy Khoshfahm says:

Eraldo – With the amount of faux fur that is available today, it is so unnecessary to trap, skin and kill live animals for their fur. Please show some compassion for fur animals, whom by the way are citizens of this Earth too, and ditch the fur. We need you on our side – fur free! As the saying goes – no one nees a mink coat, except a mink!

  3. what in gods name do people think about, how can any normal human being do such evil vile sick cruel things, these people really need stringing up and left to swing. low life scum

  6. Denise Devereux says:

The only species needing culling from this planet is much of the Human Race.
God end this and the cruel world we live in.
