Stop Designer from Using Tortured Animals on Clothing

Target: Francesca Bellettini, CEO of Yves Saint Laurent

Goal: Stop Yves Saint Laurent from using fur in its products.

Yves Saint Laurent is a popular designer that sells products all over the world, but unfortunately still supports the cruel fur industry and uses fur on many of its products. It is time to stop supporting a trade that tortures and kills animals for profit.

Animals held on fur farms are typically kept in small, dirty cages where they have limited access to sunshine, food, and clean water. Each day is filled with misery and pain as these animals wait for their untimely deaths. The animals are killed in whatever way is deemed cheapest and most convenient. Common ways include neck-breaking, strangulation, suffocation, poisoning, and anal electrocution.

Sign this petition and demand Yves Saint Laurent stop using fur and begin using the countless, alternative cruelty-free materials available.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Ms. Bellettini,

Despite knowing animals are tortured and killed for their coats, your company continues to use fur on many of its products. It is time to stop supporting this cruel industry and start utilizing the many cruelty-free, alternative materials that are available.

Animals held on fur farms are denied everything natural to them. They are typically held in small, dirty cages where they have limited access to sunshine, food, and clean water. Often times the animals do not see sunshine until it is time to be killed. The animals, who are still quite young, are killed in whatever way the industry deems most convenient. Common ways include strangulation, neck-breaking, suffocation, poisoning, and anal electrocution.

Please consider no longer using fur on your products. No animal should suffer and be killed for an article of clothing.

Sincerely,

  1. Truly disgusting that Yves Saint Laurent continues to exploit, condone and encourage ANIMAL ABUSE in order to provide BLOODBATH MURDER GARMENTS to their pathetic fur hags and other streetwalkers and prostitutes that feel inferior and low level in their own skins . BOYCOTT YVES SAINT LAURENT until they STOP SELLING MURDER OF INNOCENT ANIMAL FOR UGLY WOMEN.

  2. Rhona LaBruzzo says:

Disgusting and still boycotting this piece of crap designers clothing. May he hang himself.

  3. Please people…boycott any product that may be from animals. Boycott any fashion designer that promotes animal cruelty.

  4. Lonnee Star says:

Its apparent that some in fashion industry feel they have no moral obligation to assist and lead in the global fight against animal cruelty. Rather, continue to use fur to adorn and rub in the publics face complete indifference to the suffering they perpetuate. There is nothing fashionable about the torturing of a fox to use the animals tail for a key chain or swinging from a coat. FASHION I THINK NOT. Its a cowardly heartless act of self glorification. Fendi is also a huge and blatant offender.
