Target: Phil Swanson, City Manager of Woodstock, Vermont
Goal: Praise the Union Arena Community Center for not allowing cruel animal acts to perform.
Garden Bros. Circus is currently traveling the nation and putting on shows that feature animal acts. However, Union Arena Community Center in Vermont made it clear to Garden Bros. Circus that it did not want any cruel animal acts at its arena and Garden Bros. Circus has complied.
After learning about how Zachary Garden, the manager of Garden Bros. Circus, allegedly beats his animals regularly, Union Arena Community Center decided to forgo the animal acts. Allegedly, Mr. Garden has declined veterinary care to injured, sick and dying animals, hits his animals often, and denies them food. These animals live in hell for mere human entertainment.
Sign this petition and praise Union Arena Community Center for being a voice for animals and not supporting this cruel form of entertainment.
Dear Mr. Swanson,
Recently, the Union Arena Community Center made the bold decision to only allow Garden Bros. Circus to perform if it ditched the animal acts. Garden Bros. Circus has complied and now animals will not be forced to perform ridiculous tricks in a large, loud, and crowded arena.
After learning about how the manager of Garden Bros. Circus, Zachary Garden, allegedly beats his animals regularly, denies them food, and declines veterinary care to sick, injured and dying animals, the Union Arena Community Center decided not to support this cruelty.
Thank you for speaking up for those who cannot speak for themselves. It is inspiring to see and I can only hope more venues follow in your footsteps.
