Justice for Shark Used in Idiotic Stunt

Target: Doug Hobbs, Chief of Division of Partners and Intergovernmental Affairs

Goal: Justice for beached shark used in cruel “shotgunning” stunt by frat boys.

A beached shark was used as a prop in a drunken frat boy stunt. Video footage shows a young man “shotgunning” beers by smashing the cans against the poor creature’s teeth while his friend forcibly holds its mouth open. The incident is believed to have taken place at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, though it has not yet been confirmed.

This shark was suffering out of its natural habitat, and instead of getting help, these boys exploited the poor creature for their own amusement. The shark’s ultimate fate is yet unknown, and we can only hope that the poor animal was helped back into the sea. However, it is entirely possible this stunt endangered the shark’s health and mental state.

We cannot let this cruelty go unpunished. Not only do we need to determine where the incident took place, but we must ensure that the young men responsible are punished for their actions. Sign this petition to help us seek justice for this abused shark.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Chief Hobbs,

Two frat boys were captured on video using a beached shark in a stunt involving smashing beer cans against the creature’s teeth. This is not only exploitative and abusive behavior, but the footage garnered many disgusted, outraged reactions among the 500,000 who viewed it. The fate of the poor shark is still unknown, but considering the circumstances it is most likely a grim one.

The incident is believed to have taken place at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, but it has yet to be confirmed. You must investigate and determine where it happened, and work with local law enforcement to ensure that these young men are punished if found guilty of this atrocious cruelty. Wild animals are living creatures who deserve more respect than to be exploited as props in videos or photos, and this incident is another example of horrible cruelty towards an animal that did not need to happen.

Please confirm as soon as possible where this happened and ensure that the young men do not escape the consequences.

Sincerely,

Yes! Animal cruelty, neglect, abuse and exploitation will not be deterred until there are severe penalties. Why is it taking so long to crack down on these monsters? Way past time to treat these offenses seriously.

  5. Justice would be to throw these idiots in the sea with big sharks, then they wouldnt be so cocky, they would cry for their moms and shit their bathing suits

  6. Bev Woodburn says:

It’s no wonder sharks and all animal species hate and despise the human species. You can’t blame them. The human species is the vilest of animal torturers and murderers of our Wildlife Worldwide.
