Target: Jane E. Kohlwey, District Attorney for Columbia County, Wisconsin
Goal: Demand the maximum penalty for the man who allegedly abused a dog, resulting in the dog needing to be euthanized.
A dog had to be euthanized after she was allegedly abused by a hired workman. The dog reportedly suffered extensive blunt-force trauma. The workman reported that the dog had been jumping up and down and put her feet against a window, breaking some glass. Demand justice for this innocent dog.
“Her eye was red and bulged out and she didn’t even acknowledge me. There was nothing,” stated Brandy Rose, the dog’s owner. She reportedly left Pepe, an 8 ½ pound Papillon-mix, alone with the workman while she retrieved some additional supplies for the job. When she returned, Pepe was reportedly hiding underneath a bed and appeared severely traumatized. Per veterinarian reports, Pepe suffered a fractured pelvis, head trauma, and a deflated lung.
The workman has been charged with felony mistreatment of animals. Sign below and demand that this man receive the maximum penalty by law, if convicted.
Dear District Attorney Kohlwey,
A dog suffered tremendously after she was allegedly abused by a hired workman. The dog had to be euthanized due to the extent of her injuries. We demand that that this innocent dog receive justice.
Per police reports, Pepe “felt like a bag of bones” following the alleged abuse. Veterinarians treated her for severe blunt-force trauma resulting in a broken pelvis and other life-threatening injuries. A witness reported that the man had appeared irritated and yelled at some children just prior to being left alone with the dog.
Pepe suffered tremendously and deserves justice. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.
