Dear District Attorney Weber,
Over 400 animals were reportedly found living in hazardous conditions. The owner of the property where they were found has not yet been charged. We demand justice for these innocent animals.
Caldwell County Sheriff’s Deputies raided the property after several animals were found deceased. Once inside, the number and diversity of the animals was nothing short of overwhelming. Among the animals found were guinea pigs, ferrets, skinks, bearded dragons, lizards, geckos, gerbils, tarantulas, turtles and tortoises, mice and rats, and birds. All of the animals allegedly suffered from various health issues.
This horrific abuse cannot go unpunished. We demand that you pursue animal cruelty charges and seek the maximum penalty in this case.
