Famous Designer Must Stop Using Fur

Target: John Idol, CEO of Michael Kors

Goal: Stop Michael Kors from using fur.

Despite knowing the horrors animals on fur farms face daily, the designer Michael Kors continues to use fur on many of its products including jackets, vests, scarfs, vests, mittens and even things as needless as key chains. Michael Kors is an American designer whose clothing is popular all around the world and among some incredibly influential people, including former First Lady Michelle Obama. It is time the designer stop supporting this cruel industry.

Animals on fur farms are often held in small, dirty cages where they have limited access to food, water and even sunshine. They are neglected, exploited and then have their lives cut drastically short. They are killed in whatever way the industry deems most convenient at the time. Common ways include neck-breaking, strangulation, suffocation, poisoning, and anal electrocution.

Sign this petition and demand Michael Kors stop using fur. There are many cruelty-free alternative materials available and it is time to start utilizing them.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Mr. Idol,

Despite knowing the horrors animals on fur farms face, your brand continues to use fur on many of its products. It is time to stop supporting this cruel trade and utilize the many cruelty-free alternative materials available. Many designers and companies have made the switch, including Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Gap Inc., and J. Crew.

Animals held on fur farms are neglected and exploited. Their lives are cut drastically short and they are often killed by strangulation, neck-breaking, anal electrocution, suffocation or poisoning. These animals are typically confined to small, dirty cages and rarely see sunlight.

There aren’t proper laws in place to protect animals imprisoned on fur farms which only makes their lives even more hellish. Please consider no longer using fur on your products, as many designers have already decided. No animal should be tortured and killed for an article of clothing.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. Let these animals go or god may bless you with Leprosy.

  2. Faux fur has been around for years now — looks & feels JUST LIKE the real thing. So there is NO need to torture & kill animals for a fur collar. If you’ve ever seen a fur farm video you wouldn’t forget it, nor would you want to wear fur.

  3. Send this moron go straight to Jail for Life !! Such a BEAST!! SUCKS N SHAME ON HIM 😠😈💩👹👺👾👽

  4. Khor’s greed is transparent, choosing the dollar over a life and chasing the mighty buck, leading people into wearing cruelty by promoting fur as “designer” and as status, and of course, AGAIN, there’s the higher price.
What goes round comes round. Time to BOYCOTT Khor, wouldn’t you say…?
