Starving Dog Seen Jumping From Balcony – Demand Justice

Target: Caroline A. Wojtaszek, District Attorney for Niagara County, New York

Goal: Demand the maximum penalty for the woman who allegedly starved her dogs and allowed one to jump from a second-story balcony.

Two malnourished dogs were found in a home in Niagara Falls. Concerned citizens called police after they reportedly witnessed one of the dogs jump from a second-story balcony. Demand justice for these innocent dogs.

Officers from the Niagara Falls Police Department responded to the call after a citizen expressed concern for a dog’s welfare. The pit bull, who had reportedly jumped from a second-story balcony, was noted by police to “appear extremely malnourished, very skinny to the point where you could see the dog’s rib cage, spine and hip bones.” Another malnourished pit bull was found inside of the residence.

The pit bulls were taken to the Niagara County SPCA for treatment. Tina Merecki, the dogs’ owner, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of failure to provide proper sustenance to the animals. Sign below and demand that Merecki receive the maximum penalty, if convicted.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Wojtaszek,

The Niagara Falls Police Department removed two pit bulls from a local residence after one reportedly jumped from a second-story balcony. The dogs appeared extremely malnourished. We demand justice for these innocent dogs.

When an animal control officer visited the two dogs at the Niagara County SPCA, he expressed concern that at least one of the dogs would not recover. It is unknown whether one of the dogs suffered injuries after it jumped from the balcony, but both were so malnourished that their bones showed through their skin. Officers found no dog food during their search of the residence.

This alleged neglect cannot go unpunished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Sincerely,

  1. Jail, high fine and take dogs away. Not allowed to have any pets, put on an animal abuse list like they do for child abusers

    • Animal abuser registry…right. The dog was probably jumping off the balcony to escape the hellish, miserable conditions and find food, and now we have one of the dogs possibly not recovering… Misdemeanor should be upgraded to felony animal cruelty as the behavior resulted in repeated infliction of (unnecessary) pain and suffering with respect to ongoing starvation, a form of ongoing TORTURE.

Kill this sadistic and heartless bitch Tina Merecki. In other words eradicate the vile and heartless bitch from this planet. Why should this heartless bitch be allowed to live so she can torture other innocent dogs or whatever animals this monster would get her hands on so this filth could starve to death. What a piece of rotten filth.
I pray the two innocent and defenceless Pit Bulls are placed in a forever loving home where they can live there precious lives out without suffering such cruelty.

The fat ass fucks were eating all the the dog’s food! These fat fucks need to go on a few months with no food! They will learn!

  4. Starv the Bitch, and throw her from the Roof of the highest Building.

  5. The laws need to be upgraded to felonies. It might discourage some of these sadist if they thought jail time was involved.

    • Pam,
I agree with you 100%. I’ve been saying this for years, but, those that can change the law, ignore me and others.
Children who abuse or kill animals should be put in a mental institution. They are psychotic and they won’t stop hurting animals. They will definitely “graduate” to harming other children and then their spouses, parents, siblings. There is no end to this problem.

  6. So what happens to the pitbulls? Pits are the most often abused dogs because of the type of people who own them and their undeserved bad reputation which is a result of how they were raised. Will these abused pits now be put on death row after their suffering at the hands of this sick woman? She’ll probably get a small fine and go on to get more pitbulls while the abused dogs will languish in a shelter filled with other unwanted pitbulls.

  7. NY HAS IT’S ANIMAL ABUSE/NEGLECT LAW UNDER AGRICULTURE AND MERCHANDISING, NOT UNDER PENAL LAW.
THE FIGHT IS TO FIRST GET IT MOVED TO PENAL LAW. THEN FIGHT TO MAKE ANY ANIMAL ABUSE/NEGLECT A FELONY.

DON’T KNOW WHY IS HASEN’T ALREADY HAPPENED >>>
