Target: John Crump, Prosecuting Attorney for Houston, Texas
Goal: Punish man for reportedly torturing and killing dog with machete.
A man allegedly murdered his dog with a machete. We need to take action in order to ensure that he is punished to the fullest extent of the law. The incident apparently occurred after Hector Ramos had a heated argument with his girlfriend. According to reports, he first threw a glass bottle at his mother. However, after realizing it had not hit her, he picked up a machete and took the family dog outside. He then proceeded to brutally stab the dog and left it to die. After allegedly committing this insidious atrocity, the man fled and has not been seen since.
It is important that investigators continue to pursue this case and that Ramos receives a harsh punishment under law if he is found guilty of such an unspeakable crime. Demand that once Ramos is found, the prosecuting attorney does everything possible to make sure he receives the maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and the maximum fine of $10,000. People who torture and abuse animals deserve to spend as much time behind bars as the law will allow.
Dear Attorney Crump,
Hector Ramos is currently being pursued by police for reportedly stabbing and killing the family dog with a machete. It is imperative that he receive the maximum legal sentence for his actions if he is found guilty so that no other animals have to suffer as a result of his abuse.
Ramos’s family was reportedly terrified during a heated argument. He not only allegedly abused them by yelling, but he then also terrified and killed their small terrier dog in front of them. Ramos needs to spend no less than 10 years in prison, as he is apparently a danger to both animals and other respectable members of society. In fact, several studies have found that people who brutally kill animals are likely to eventually go on to murder innocent people.
Because Ramos is being accused of such a serious act, we demand that you suggest that he receive the maximum punishment under law, which would include both a $10,000 fine and a 10 year prison sentence. If Ramos does not spend the maximum time in prison for his alleged actions, many animals and people will likely suffer at the hands of his abuse.
