Target: Douglas Eichholz, District Attorney for Warren County, Iowa
Goal: Demand the maximum penalty for the woman who allegedly neglected over 20 dogs, leading to the death of three.
Over 20 dogs were reportedly found in poor condition on an Iowa property. Three of them died and another was near death. Their caretaker was running an animal rescue. Demand justice for these innocent dogs.
The Animal Rescue League of Iowa entered the property to retrieve two dead dogs. What they found instead was devastating. According to their reports, nineteen more dogs were living in the garages, camper, and the home located on the property. They were matted and covered in sores. A third dog was found dead and another was near death.
Lindsey Morrow, the owner of the property, has been charged with five counts of animal torture, five counts of animal neglect (serious misdemeanor) and 17 counts of animal neglect (simple misdemeanor) in addition to other unrelated charges. Sign below and demand that Morrow receive the maximum penalty by law, if convicted.
Dear District Attorney Eichholz,
Rescue workers reportedly found three dead dogs and 19 others in poor condition on an Indianola property. Their owner, Lindsey Morrow, has been charged with multiple counts of animal neglect. We demand justice for these innocent dogs.
A social media statement from the Animal Rescue League of Iowa stated, “Most disturbingly, she is the director for a ‘no-kill’ group called Bully Breed Miracle Network and Rescue… We are so glad these dogs have now REALLY been saved… from her.” According to reports, the dead dogs were found lying outside, their bodies in varying stages of decay and covered in feces, and the surviving dogs were so badly injured that they face a lengthy recovery time.
This horrific crime cannot go unpunished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.
