Target: Kathryn Bufano, CEO of Bon-Ton
Goal: Stop Bon-Ton from selling fur products.
Despite knowing how horribly animals on fur farms are treated, department store Bon-Ton continues to sell fur products. It is time to stop supporting this cruel trade.
Animals on fur farms are typically held in small, dirty cages where they have limited access to food and water. They face new horrors each day and their lives are cut dramatically short. They are killed in whatever way the industry deems most convenient. Common ways include strangulation, suffocation, anal electrocution, neck breaking and poisoning.
Sign this petition to demand Bon-Ton stop selling furs. No animal should suffer and die for an article of clothing.
Dear Ms. Bufano,
Despite knowing fur comes from the tortured bodies of dead animals, your stores continue to sell fur products. It is time to stop supporting this cruel industry and spare countless animals from unnecessary pain and death.
Animals on fur farms are typically held in small, dirty cages with limited access to food and water. They are often confined inside and rarely see sunlight. They are neglected, exploited and then killed at a young age. The industry prefers to use convenient and cheap methods of killing including strangulation, suffocation, neck breaking, anal electrocution and poisoning.
Please consider no longer selling fur at your stores. No animal should be exploited, tortured and killed for an unnecessary article of clothing. Many companies including QVC, Zappos and Lands’ End have already stopped selling fur and I hope you follow in their footsteps.
