Dear District Attorney Archer,
A dog was reportedly swung around by its own leash, resulting in a broken leg. The suspect is a former employee at a Florida boarding facility. We demand justice for this innocent dog.
“Now, Mr. Pendergrass, I’ve told everyone before that if you hurt an animal in Brevard County, you’re going straight to jail,” stated Sheriff Wayne Ivey of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office. Pendergrass reportedly fled the area after the alleged abuse was captured on surveillance video. He was charged with cruelty to animals and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He later returned and was immediately taken into custody.
This horrific abuse cannot go unpunished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.
