Target: Malcom Jones, Senior Sergeant of Bunbury Police
Goal: Find and punish the person responsible for skinning a kitten and throwing another one from a moving vehicle.
A kitten was thrown from a moving vehicle, and another had to be euthanized after someone cruelly skinned its tail. The kitten was lucky to survive being tossed from a vehicle, according to Dr. Wallis. However, she says the other kitten’s tail was “skinned off” and that it was in such horrible condition that euthanasia was the only option. The two cats were admitted just 15 minutes apart, Wallis said, adding that they were also were similar in appearance and age. Both were only about 12 weeks old.
The surviving kitten was rushed to the vet after a woman witnessed the animal being flung from a moving truck. She said the kitten, who was meowing and running in circles, ran straight into her arms when she got out of her car and approached it.
The police seem to be indifferent toward this disturbing animal cruelty as they reportedly refused to do anything, claiming it’d be difficult to find the attacker without a registration number, despite the fact that the witness gave a description of the vehicle. It appears the police are unwilling to take animal cruelty seriously, even when there’s a possibility that a cruel attacker is on a spree to maim and murder tiny, helpless animals. Please sign this petition demanding that authorities start doing their jobs to find this person and bring them to justice.
Dear Sergeant Jones,
A kitten was cruelly thrown from the window of a moving truck in broad daylight while another kitten had to be euthanized after someone skinned its tail. The veterinarian believes the string of separate attacks could’ve been committed by the same perpetrator. The kittens were admitted just minutes apart, and the veterinarian says they were similar in age and appearance.
Despite a witness report and a description of the vehicle, police reportedly refused to do anything about these disturbing crimes. Someone is clearly torturing and killing small, helpless kittens in this area. We demand that an effort be made to find the abuser before they accumulate more victims.
