Target: Stefano Sassi, CEO of Valentino
Goal: Stop Valentino from using fur in its products.
The luxury brand Valentino continues to support the cruel fur industry and use fur on many of its products despite knowing how terribly the industry exploits and tortures animals.
Animals on fur farms are typically held in small, dirty cages where they have limited access to food and water. Their lives are filled with misery and pain, and are dramatically cut short. They are killed in whatever way the industry deems most convenient. Common ways include neck-breaking, strangulation, suffocation, poisoning and anal electrocution.
Sign this petition to demand the designer stop using fur. No animal should die for an article of clothing.
Dear Mr. Sassi,
Despite knowing the torture and pain animals in the fur industry face daily, your company continues to support this cruel industry. Fur is not a necessity and it is time to stop killing animals for it.
Animals trapped within the fur industry are typically kept in small, dirty cages where they have limited access to food and water. Each day is filled with fear and pain, and these animals’ lives are cut short by the industry’s employees. The animals are killed in whatever way is cheapest and most convenient. Common ways include strangulation, suffocation, neck-breaking, poisoning and anal electrocution.
Please consider no longer using fur in your products. There are many cruelty-free alternative materials available and it is time to start using them.
