Find Brutes Who Abandoned a Cat Covered in Caution Tape

Target: Steven Kavanagh, Chief Constable of the Essex Police

Goal: Demand justice for a cat that was abandoned after being wrapped in caution tape that covered his mouth, nose and eyes.

A poor tomcat was discovered covered in black and yellow caution tape in Essex, England. The inspectors investigating this crime think that due to the way that the tape was woven around the animal, it is impossible that he was tangled by accident. This deliberately cruel act limited the cat’s oxygen intake and made him vulnerable to being hit by a car. It is obvious that whoever did this didn’t care if the cat survived.  The cruel individual that tortured and left this cat in such a cruel state should be found and brought to justice immediately.

It is unknown how long the cat was left struggling and panicking against the tape that blinded him and made breathing difficult. The tape would have stuck to the cat’s fur, making its removal painful.

The little orange tabby is friendly, so it is believed that he belongs to a family. He is recovering from the attack with the help of a vet. His owners have yet to be located. Luckily this tomcat has been rescued by caring RSPCA officials, but with the culprit at large, other animals will be at risk of being abused by the perpetrator.

The brute who tortured this cat in this way must be found. This kind of sick violence should not be allowed to persist. Sign this petition to urge the police to quickly find and apprehend this criminal before another animal is allowed to suffer a similar fate.

Dear Chief Constable Kavanagh,

Recently, an abused orange tabby was found covered in hazard tape in Essex. The tape covered the friendly tabby’s eyes, nose and mouth, making it extremely threatening to the animal’s well-being. It has been ruled that this was not accidental, but deliberately done. There is no telling how long the cat was left in this cruel condition before someone found him and contacted the authorities.

Crimes against animals are particularly disturbing because the victims are innocent and powerless to protect themselves. Brutes that commit acts of violence against animals often move on to other prey, like other animals or humans without the power to protect themselves.

Please do everything in your power to ensure that the culprit is found and faces real justice for this cruel crime.

DNA testing…..may find the culprits! Sick bastards! Poor lil guy. cant imagine how sacred he was and how painful it was removing the tape. Do people have nothing better to do lately than to torture and kill animals?????

  2. THANK YOU to all the wonderful people who intervened and rescued this cat — you are HEROES! — Crimes against animals MUST be taken seriously — there are way too many idiot-monsters loose in our world – — think of the suffering this cat endured — Why is society allowing psychos to get away with these horrific abuses !! — Who do these imbeciles think they are !! — we MUST round them up & throw these insane cretins into prison — they are a danger to society — mete out severe punishments OR whatever it takes to ensure they do NOT repeat their demented crimes — LENGTHY prison terms — along with slapping them with hefty fines — we want NO repeats of abuse to and killings of animals, EVER !

  3. Another pos human that should go to prison for hurting this innocent cat

  4. Rosalba Conti says:

I wish that beast of “human being” who has done evil to this poor cat to collect all the evil in the world. I hope you understand what I mean.

  5. Poor, lovely cat. I am so glad he survived.

Bring back tough discipline in schools. This is basic and is essential so that kids can distinguish between right and wrong and be punished for vile, sickening cruelty of this kind.

Of course the thugs will never be found – because authorities today never take animal abuse seriously. I only wish I could be proved wrong.

Officials, please get tough on animal abuse. Urgenty!

    • Agreed. Yes. Well put… It starts at home.
The horror is that the tape left the cat unable to see or breathe, or eat or drink… If he had not been rescued, he probably would have died, and you don’t even want to think about how…
This type of mind is a danger to all society, and capable of much more – with respect to THAT, the police and authorities would do well to track this type of perpetrator down and be on the lookout – this type of cruelty is SADISTIC, and not to be tolerated for one minute, whether in the animal or human realm… This type of act is often just the precursor to something else… In light of this, the circumstance begs for the FULL FORCE of the law and a timely strengthening of animal anti-cruelty law.

Catch the monster who did this to an innocent creature and do the same to him or her…… eye for an eye.

  8. I hope when they find the evil B****** , that someone will “educate” them in a way that they wont ever do anything like this again .
