Target: Sebastian Suhl, CEO of Marc Jacobs
Goal: Stop Marc Jacobs from using fur in its products.
The high fashion brand Marc Jacobs continues to use fur in many of its products despite knowing fur comes from the tortured bodies of dead animals. Fur is not a necessity, and it is time to stop supporting this cruel industry.
Animals on fur farms are typically held in small, dirty cages where they have limited access to food and water. Everyday, the animals are fearful for the unknown pain and misery coming their way. Their short lives end with a crude death. The fur industry kills animals in whatever way is most convenient. Common ways are neck-breaking, strangulation, anal electrocution, suffocation and poisoning.
Sign this petition and demand that Marc Jacobs stop using fur in its products. No animal should be tortured and killed for an article of clothing.
Dear Mr. Suhl,
Your company continues to support the cruel fur industry despite knowing that the industry constantly exploits, tortures and kills innocent animals. Fur is not a necessity, and it is time to stop treating it as such.
Animals held on fur farms live short, miserable lives filled with fear and pain. They are typically held in small, dirty cages where they have limited access to food and water. Their lives end in whatever way is cheapest and most convenient for the fur industry. Common ways of killing include anal electrocution, strangulation, suffocation, neck-breaking and poisoning.
Please consider no longer using fur in your products. There are many cruelty-free alternative materials available, and it is time to start utilizing them. No animal should be tortured and killed for an unnecessary article of clothing.
