Target: Sheri McCoy, CEO of Avon
Goal: Stop Avon from testing its products on animals.
Avon is a popular cosmetic company that used to be cruelty-free, however Avon has covertly changed its policies. Avon now pays for tests on animals in order to sell its products in China.
Animals used in testing have the products’ ingredients rubbed into their skin and eyes, and are force-fed the ingredients. This can lead to severe burns and even blindness. Everyday millions of mice, rabbits, guinea pigs and other animals experience unnecessary fear, pain and death while being tested on.
Sign this petition and demand Avon stop testing on animals and become a cruelty-free company again. It is barbaric to continue torturing these helpless animals.
Dear Ms. McCoy,
It has recently come to my attention that Avon began testing on animals after years of being a cruelty-free company. This is in order to sell products in China.
Animals used for cosmetic testing are subjected to fear and pain daily. Animals have the products’ ingredients rubbed into their skin and eye, and force-fed down their throats. This often leads to intense skin and eye irritation, blindness and even death. This cruel torture is completely unnecessary and should be stopped.
Please consider no longer testing products on animals and become a cruelty-free company again. This would spare countless mice, rabbits, guinea pigs and other animals from pain and death.
